Signing Up for Letterboxd

Letterboxd is a social platform where you can track, rate, and review movies. You can use it to keep a watchlist, log what you’ve seen, and connect with other film lovers. Signing up is quick and free — here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Visit the Letterboxd Website

Go to letterboxd.com in your web browser. You can also download the Letterboxd app on your phone; the signup process is the same.

Step 2: Click “Create Account”

You will find this button near the top of the homepage.

Step 3: Fill out the Registration Form

Enter your email address. Then, create a username and password.

Step 4: Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email. Click the confirmation link.

You’re In!

Upon validating your account, you’ll be redirected to the Letterboxd welcome page.
